Dr.R.Selvarangam, M.B.B.S., D.O (CHIEF EYE SURGEON).
Dr.R.Selvarangam: is a consultant eye surgeon with 30 Years of Experience. He topped Madras university in ophthalmology during MBBS at Stanley Medical College, Chennai. He was well trained by the senior eye specialists under the guidance of Padmabooshan Dr. S.S.Badrinath at SANKARA NETHRALAYA, CHENNAI. He worked as eye surgeon @ Sankara Eye Hospital & KG Hospital, Coimbatore.
He is very specialized in doing Phaco surgeries for cataract with Intra Ocular Lens Implantation under topical Anesthesia (without giving injection). He is also expert in giving laser treatment for diabetic retinopathy, Glaucoma ( High Eye Pressure) and lasik laser.
To his credit he has performed more than 15,000 cataract surgeries with intra ocular Lens implantation . Not only patients from Salem City and from the entire district and also from the neighboring districts such as Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Namakkal , Kallakurichi , Tirupattur, Erode , Tiruppur & Cuddalore are benefitted by his expertise in eye care. Few patients from even Mumbai & Chennai also were operated by him.
